I’ve been there too. There was a time when I wondered what the secret was. I thought I was eating well and fuelling my body appropriately for my goals but I just wasn’t seeing results.
The world of nutrition can be a very confusing place: should you quit sugar, drink apple cider benefit, cut out carbs or stop eating after 7pm❓NO you don’t need to do any of these‼️
Two of the biggest pitfalls that I see most people fall into when it comes to nutrition are:
⚠️ Not eating enough protein, AND
⚠️ Severely overeating so-called healthy foods and snacks
Most girls in particular don’t get enough protein or are afraid that they’ll eat too much protein. DON’T BE!
✅ Eating protein at 1g per pound of bodyweight is safe for healthy individuals and is certainly NOT excessive! I safely eat far more than that!🙋🏻♀️
✅ Eating protein increases your metabolism though the thermic effect of food.
✅ Protein not only builds and repairs muscle but also keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Ever had a day where you’ve had just soup and bread for lunch and you were starving an hour later? Not enough protein, that’s why.
