Following on from my post yesterday about beginner tips for tracking macros, I’ve had heaps of questions from you guys which I thought I’d cover here:
1️⃣ Forget the cheat meal mentality! Eat what you crave. I’m all about not restricting yourself cos that causes it’s own issues. Just put that food you are craving into MyFitnessPal and then build your day around it.
2️⃣ Plan your day out. Yes tracking macros gives you flexibility but how many of you have just tracked as you ate through the day and then it gets to 6pm and you only have 40g of protein left?! Having most of your meals planned and tracked ahead makes it easier and takes the guesswork away.
3️⃣ Learn what foods work for you and how they fit your macros. The more you track the mire you learn about the content of the food you eat. Knowledge is power! Don’t rely on MyFitnessPal for everything!
